Crow Photo Gallery

When I started writing Zo in the Roosting Tree, I was already fascinated by beautiful, clever, family-loving American Crows. As I learned more and more about crows, I started photographing them. Look at the blue and purple sheen of those black feathers, or the expressions on the crows’ faces, and you’ll see why I created the character Zo.
